Testing out the Gro Anywhere Blind!

Over the festive period we stayed at my parents house for a couple of days, which was lovely meaning we could all enjoy the evening and relax a bit more rather than having to pack up and drive home in the freezing cold!
We have stayed away from home a few times so I knew what to take but there is always that thing in the back of your mind thinking 'have I got everything?'
My parents house is getting done up and with that the room Elliott would be staying in (he has his own bed) was one of the main rooms getting a redec!
They told us prior to staying that the room had no curtains or carpet, which we weren't too fussed at, as the bedroom only had one use and that was to sleep in!

That's when I remembered about our Gro Anywhere Blind (£29.99)(*)! We have only tested it out in Elliott's bedroom and loved it so knew it would work amazingly at my parents house - after all it is a portable blind!

When we arrived, I decided to pop the blind up just in case Elliott got sleepy and fancied a nap.
The blind was so easy to pop up. The suckers that are placed around the edge of the blind are easy to stick onto the glass of the window meaning all light is gone in seconds, another thing we liked were the Velcro stripes that were also along the edge of the blind meaning you can make the blind fit any window - a fantastic idea!

The room was instantly dark with absolutely no light creeping in through the blind at all! Brilliant for a small child that likes a completely dark room.
The blind has a lovely design of stars and moons on the side that faces into the room - very cute!

When it was time to pop Elliott to bed for the night, the room was lovely and dark and my little toot went to sleep straight away. He never normally wakes through the night, and this night was no different!

In the morning I removed the blind from the window quickly and easily, just by releasing all the suckers.

I absolutely love this blind and I can assure you if we stay over anywhere this will be the first thing packed! I love the fact it can transform a light room into complete darkness in the matter of seconds!

Have you tried the Gro Anywhere Blind?

  2. This blind looks fab! I've never bothered with blackout blinds with Lizzy even though I'm sure they would have helped her to sleep better, but I'll probably try them fir the next baby! #twinklytuesday

  3. I have! I actually had this before I had a kid. My sister in law stayed over with her baby and used it. I find it so much easier to sleep when it's dark so I bought one to take on holidays #TwinklyTuesday
