Am I Pinterest Enough Yet?

I'm sure if you are a parent blogger you have seen that some parents go all out for with their little ones lunches and manage to make a picture out of their food... Something which I thought was for the 'cool' mums and I can say I do not class myself as one of those that's for sure!

When Organix gave me a little challenge to see if I could make some cute Christmas designs out of food with some of their snacks, I thought I would take it on.

So with sleeves rolled up, small child napping, I set to work on my masterpieces!

Organix did give me some ideas, like the 'Man in the Moon' which I thought I would give a go as the picture didn't look that hard to recreate.
I want to tell you I took to this like a duck in water but the fact of the matter was this design took me a good half an hour to perfect...
The cheese slice was the worst to cut and make into a shape of a moon! But after cutting the half moon shape the rest came to me and I felt like some kind of lunch artist!
With some cucumber, a strawberry and some yellow pepper the 'Man' was sitting on the moon! With some added Organix Cheese Stars placed around the plate, I stepped back and took in my work of art!

Next up was a Christmas Tree, I thought this was really easy and actually quite fun! I took some Organix Carrot sticks and popped them on the plate in the middle and with some cucumber cut into slices these formed the 'branches'. Cutting strips of yellow pepper I scattered (perfectly placed) the 'tinsel' and some cut strawberry baubles to pop onto the cucumber. I popped a strawberry at the bottom of the 'tree' to make the pot and added a Organix Cheese Star to the top and ta da my masterpiece was complete!

When Elliott woke I offered the plates to him and he went straight for all the Organix snacks and the fruit and left all the vegetables...
If I'm honest I was slightly annoyed he ruined my works of art! ha ha!

Organix have kindly offered one of my lucky readers the chance to win one of their very limited Christmas selection boxes filled with lots of yumminess you see above! Elliott told me he gives all these a 10 out of 10! All you have to do is enter below! Good luck!
