Bath Fun with the Foam Cone Factory!

From day one Elliott has been a lover of the water meaning bath times were always fun and enjoyable for all of us.

I did a post a while back called The Best Bath Ever where we found out that ball pit balls and some flashing octopus' made a fun bath which Elliott loved and we found it hard to remove him from the bath!  Fast forward to today and bath time is a lot more fun with even more bath toys and is an even harder task on getting him out and that is all down to the Tomy Foam Cone Factory! (£20)(*)

When this arrived in the morning with the post man I was so excited to see it, in fact there was a moment when I thought "Elliott could do with a bath at 9am" just so I could see what this was all about!

When bath time approached I put small child into the bath and suckered the Foam Cone Factory to the tiles. By this time Elliott was dying to use it so I mixed some of his bath soap with some bath water and poured it into the top (it comes with a little cones to make the foam cones so I just mixed it in there and it was fine) and then pulled the handle down which makes the foam come out from the bottom to which you pop one of the small yellow cones under to create your own foamy ice cream cone! We both had so much fun playing with this and soon ran out of the bath soap (we found to create the perfect sturdy foam we used a little more soap - just be careful as you can block it)
Elliott understood not to eat the foam and instead popped it onto his belly which he found hilarious!

He loves pulling down the lever and watching the foam coming out - he hasn't quite grasped that he needs to pop a cone underneath but if he's having fun who am I to interfere!

One thing I would say is that when the lever is pulled down for maybe the first couple of times it did slip down the tiles, but I once it had made its way down to the edge of the bath we had no problems! It doesn't stick onto the bath sadly so he does have to kneel in the bath to use it which if I'm honest I don't like as I am forever telling him to "sit on his bum" but I suppose I'm there and he is being safe.

The Foam Cone Factory is not a messy toy as in it doesn't take up any room - we leave it up all the time! And the small cones and shaker are neatly stored away in one of the holders at the side so we know where they are at all times!

We all love using this, even Daddy has had a turn and I'm pretty sure he uses it every time he has a bath as the cones and shaker are never in the same place as I left them! I would highly recommend this with it coming up to Christmas. This is a toy that can be used for years to come and never gets old!

  2. oooh this looks fab! Baby H just loves baths - she's usually surrounded by ducks, frogs and ball pit balls too... usually they fly about all over the place as she holds them under or soaks us with the squirters. Bath is definitely not a winding down to bed time! Thanks for sharing #twinklytuesday

  4. We are always on the lookout for new bath toys as we get through them so quickly (they either get dirty or don't last long!). This looks fun! Thanks for linking up with #TwinklyTuesday

  5. Bath time is typically a fun time for most babies. Children typically love to splash in the bath and play with bath toys, as the toys are usually the best part of the bath.
