Mummy Pamper Sesh!

Before Elliott was born I definitely took pampering for granted and would not think twice about running myself a bath and popping on a face mask and relaxing for half an hour - now that seems like a luxury that happens every so often!

When small child goes to bed then its 'my' time, usually after Elliott is bedded I then have to tidy up all the toys, clear away the tea plates, clean the kitchen and then maybe go for a quick 5 minute shower before I retire to bed!

Every so often I decided to have a little pamper sesh where the number one priority is me - and only me! If Elliott happens to wake Jordan's on call!

My pamper nights consist of running myself a bath with a beautiful smelling Lush Bath Bomb - I actually really look forward to having a bath just for the bath bomb haha! I take off all my make up and pop a face mask on and then soak in my hot bath for a good half an hour while reading a good book which I feel like I've been reading for a good 6 months!

Once out the bath and I've removed the face mask I usually get some cosy PJ's on and my comfy slippers and get to work on those stray hairs from my eyebrows - which only seem to get done every month or so! Up until this point they usually resemble two slugs moving across my face....

I usually take this time to give my fingernails some much needed love and give them a little mani and give them a lick of paint (which usually last approx 1 days before chipping...)
Oh I also give my feet a pedi too, I'm not a feet person in the slightest but one thing I hate is seeing is dry skin on feet! I really recommend the Scholl Express Pedi for this as it leaves my feet feeling really soft!

After doing all that it's usually well past my bedtime so I take myself off to bed feeling very much pampered!

What do you do with your spare time? Do you take an evening out to pamper yourself?

  1. Honestly that sounds so relaxing. I don't remember the last time I gave myself a face mask. I'm really not a fan of baths to be honest, I prefer showers, but even one of those in peace is a rare thing these days. The joy of parenthood hey! Well done for making time for yourself. x

  2. Oh my goodness, that sounds like bliss! I used to enjoy long soaks in the bath with a milky chocolate and some chocolates. It's been a long time since I've managed a full on pamper x

  3. I miss my pamper nights! I work from home, so when the kids are in bed, out comes Mummys laptop. So pampering sessions are slim to none lately. I havent even had a bath yet in this house and we moved in in June, its been quick daily showers, but I'd love a relaxing bath!! #justanotherlinky

  4. Sounds perfect. I've not long discovered Lush, we don't have a shop locally, so came across one on my last shopping trip to Liverpool. I fell in love! They're bath bombs are heavenly. I feel like my evenings are cramped with catching up with everything, I need to take an evening off to relax! xx
