While pregnant I wasn't bothered about putting on weight as neive that I was I thought I would be out walking ever day with baby and I would ping back to my post pregnancy body, how wrong I was!!
I didn't have a craving as such while pregnant, I just enjoyed food more - I loved every mouthful I ate! With this I put on 2 stone, which I was told was 'normal' so who was I to judge!
Once Baby E was here, I must admit my stomach did reduce in size but was very wobbly and I was really self conscious about it, hiding it with floaty tops and tummy control leggings!
While I did go walking some days (not everyday, and sometimes not every second day...) I ate the same amount as I did while pregnant.
I am heavier than I have ever been and in a bigger size of clothes too and not happy with the way I look at all.
Now you might say I am not big in the slightest (now being a size 12/14) or
I only had a baby 5 months ago blah blah blah. I think it's a personal thing and if you don't feel right about yourself you get really down and feel rubbish!
The shock of how big I look was a photo that one of my friends took at the weekend and I knew I HAD to do something!
So today I am going to be eating healthier, watching my portion sizes and going to go walking every day - even in the rain or shine, afterall the pram does have a raincover and we both have jackets! And hopefully by doing this I will feel confident in what I wear and the way I look!
Wish me luck!
Good luck! I am the size of a whale and had Molly 9 months ago so have no excuse really.
