Spring/Summer Make Up

I thought I would share with you my make up look for spring/summer.
The make up listed below is my everyday make up and as you can see there is a lot of warm peachy and pinks, perfectly for the up and coming warmer months!

One product that I have raved about on this ol' blog is the Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation (£5.99).
I feel that this is the perfect foundation for summer, as the weather is getting warmer and we are getting a bit hot and shiny in the face area I find that the mattifying power in this little beauty protects me from that sweaty look and lasts the whole day without the need for touch up. Applied with a Real Techniques Buffing Brush the foundation makes my skin look airbrushed and what more could you want from a high street foundation?! You can read a full review on Rimmel Stay Matte foundation here.

TARTE Lights, Camera, Lashes ($20) (*)
This is a new edition to my mascara collection which I have fallen in love with. I love the way that my lashes look thicker and fuller and lasts the whole day without any fall off. The formula is thick which is the ideal consistency for the false lash effect.
This is now my 'go-to' mascara and I know I will be using this right through summer to autumn!

Collection Felt Tip Liner (£2.99)
One thing that I cannot live without is a good eyeliner, and I have found the perfect one that will take a lot of competition for me to stray away from. The Collection Felt Tip Liner is exactly like a pen as it has a nib which is wet, which is a good thing as the black liner is easy to work with and creates the perfect slick to the upper lash line and lasts the whole day without any rub off and dries super quick so you are not left with the dreaded black line on your crease!
I have had this for a couple of months now and the nib is still as wet as the first day I bought it! For a couple of quid you can't complain at all!

TARTE Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Flush (£26.00) (*)
I have done a review on this blush which you can read here.
Since getting this little beauty I haven't been able to put it down, or use anything else. I use this everyday without fail. I love the way it blends into my cheeks effortlessly and the pop of colour it leaves is just to die for. The powder formula of the blush is just beautiful and makes the perfect shade for the warmer months for sure.

Rimmel 60 Seconds Nail Polish in Instyle Coral (£3.69)
I have never been one for pinky orange shades of nail polish - that was until I saw this beauty!
I actually picked this up as it was reduced and thought what's the harm...
As soon as it hit my nails I was in love and kicked myself for not picking this shade up sooner! The shade is more orange than pink, but defiantly has a pink undertone. This has been on my nails for most of the month! It roughly lasts a week without any chipping, but when it does I remove it and re apply!

TARTE Amazonian Butter Lipstick ($16) (*)
In the warmer months I don't really reach for lipstick as such, instead I love a good tinted lip balm and the Tarte Lip Butters are divine! The perfect shades for coming into summer and are conditioning on the lips, so leaving them softer!
The only thing is that you do have to keep reapplying as after eating they do wear off pretty quickly. I have had these butters for a month and they are perfect for the summer months! The shade I prefer is a coral orange shade called Coral Blossom, with this I know my make up look is good to go!

  1. Tarte's blush is the best blush ever! I love it so much and wear it almost everyday :)
I also really like their mascara but I use the gold one. I think both are amazing though!
