Toddler Approved Pancakes!

HAPPY SHROVE TUESDAY!

This is the one day you can eat as many pancakes as you like throughout the day and not be judged!

I much prefer to make my own pancakes, only because they are super simple to make and are an easy breakfast/lunch option if it's nearing the big food shop day and we've not much in cupboards!

So today I thought I would share my toddler approved pancake recipe.

Ingredients you'll need.

1 cup of self raising flour
Couple of spoons of sugar
Milk
An egg

I haven't given accurate measurements as I kind of eyeball it but I will guide you through how I get yummy fluffy pancakes!

I'm sure we all know how to make pancakes but if not, here's how I did it...
Sift the flour into a large bowl and add a couple of spoonfuls of sugar, once both are mixed make a well in the middle of the mixture and add an egg then whisk them all together.
While your whisking away add a splash of milk into the mixture until it becomes smooth.
Add a blob of butter into a frying pan, once butter has melted ladle some of the batter into the pan.
Remember to flip them over! You can flip them in the air if you wish! Or you can be boring like me and do it with a spatula!

And with that the pancakes are ready to be scoffed!
Elliott loves pancakes and eats them like they are going out of fashion and these always get the thumbs up from him! He usually has them with some butter and a little jam. I added some banana on top of mine!
Have you ever tried to make toddler approved pancakes?
