What I've learnt so far...

With the months zooming past so quickly I thought I would have a look back at the last 8 months and tell you things I've learnt so far...

The first and foremost is that time never stays still got long, in a blink of an eye your new born baby turns into a crawling 6 month old!

Everyone and their dog have advice on your mothering skills, even though you don't actually ask for it, it will be given!

It's okay to get emotional at everything! You will cry at the slightest things! Oh and it gets worse when they pass a milestone, the reach their monthly birthday or your boxing up all the clothes they've outgrown! My little one did all the above on the one day and I was an emotional wreak!

Forget your Gucci perfume you were sporting before baby appeared, your new scent will be baby puke!

Weaning can be fun and is quite fun, until they start throwing it round! I wasn't aware sweet potato in the hair was so fashionable ;)

Teething is pretty much the worst stage ever! No matter what way you look at it, you will at some point have a narky, clingy, crying baby that decides to wake during the night... Every hour!

To run on from the point above, it's okay to let your baby sleep in your bed so you can get a decent nights sleep! We've all done it!

Everyone says not to compair your baby to the next, but you will! And before you know DADA is the only spoken word in your household for the foreseeable future!

It's okay to be up 2 hours earlier than baby to go for a shower and get ready in peace! Until you hear the dreaded cry because you've walked passed thier door and the floor board creaked! I can make 3 day old hair work...

Your phone will be filled with 628838391 photos of your baby that you can't even think about deleting any so you have to buy more iCloud storage! I need that photo that looks exactly like the others as he's smiling differently!

Your voice will be permanently animated and high pitched for the foreseeable future! It's also acceptable to speak to your other half in this tone, even if baby is asleep!

Your newborn baby will hate being naked and will scream blue murder until every inch of them is covered. 7 month olds + like to be naked at any given opportunity and will refuse to lie down and have thier nappy on. You will become quite the expert at putting a nappy on a moving baby!

These are just for fun! Obviously I have learnt a lot! The main one is that I am more patient with everyone and that I have never loved anything as much as I do Baby E. My heart swells with so much love and pride with every day that passes. Oh no... Here come the waterworks!
